Please refer to the note below about the upcoming 2013 Teaching, Learning and Student Development Conference, which MACC is co-sponsoring. The event will be on April 5, 2013. You can register via our website, and find more information on our calendar.
The 2013 Teaching, Learning and Student Development Conference (TLSD13) registration is now open at the link below! The conference will take place on Friday, April 5, 2013. In keeping with our conference theme, “Preparing Socially Responsible Learners and Leaders,” we plan to be socially responsible, keeping our carbon foot print minimal. Therefore, we are not printing conference programs and are only using an online registration process. Please forward this email to all those who are presenting with you, since all presenters must register in advance for the conference.
Conference Program and Registration
The complete conference program is included on the registration page. Two morning sessions will be offered directly following the keynote speaker. These sessions will provide each participant the opportunity to meet with colleagues from across the state engaging in best practices and pedagogy in the area of preparing socially responsible learners and leaders. Please review the sessions and carefully choose your desired sessions. Presenters must also register for the conference and should choose their own workshop for the session(s) that they are presenting. All registrants must choose workshops as they register. A confirmation email will be sent immediately after you complete the registration process. If you do not receive a confirmation immediately after completing the process, please check your junk mail and/or spam files. The cost will be $60.00 per person. Each college will be billed for total number of registrants. Registrants will have until March 25, 2013 to cancel a registration; otherwise, the sending college or agency will be billed for the registration.
We would also like to inform you of a pre-conference opportunity taking place at MCC on Thursday,
April 4. It is an Institute on “Bridging Cultures through Democracy, Diversity and the Humanities.” Further information can be accessed from a link on the TLSD13 website https://www.middlesex.mass.
edu/tlsd13/preconf.aspx. The Institute has a separate registration process and is limited to 60 participants.
