The President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll annually highlights the role colleges and universities play in solving community problems and placing more students on a lifelong path of civic engagement by recognizing institutions that achieve meaningful, measureable outcomes in the communities they serve. The Honor Roll is a program of the federal Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS).
2014 Honor Roll
The 2014 President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll application is now available online. To apply, go to the application website at http://myproject.nationalservice.gov/honorroll/. The application deadline is April 3, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. ET.
This year the Honor Roll will recognize higher education institutions in four categories:
- General Community Service
- Interfaith Community Service
- Economic Opportunity
CNCS conducted two webinars in December 2013 to introduce the new application and answer questions. Watch the webinars for more information:
